FSR Biomarker Summit

October 23, 2025 in Chicago, IL

The goal of the FSR Biomarker Summit is to achieve consensus in the definition and categorization of biomarkers in such a way that it will allow FSR to strategically invest in biomarker research and generate key performance measurement standards. The event offers direct engagement with leading scientists and clinicians focused on advancing biomarker discovery for sarcoidosis. Panel discussions will include both consensus-building on sarcoidosis-specific biomarker discovery and validation pathways, and discussions of how to translate successful initiatives from other diseases into sarcoidosis.

On this same day, FSR will be hosting our first-ever summit for members of the FSR Global Sarcoidosis Clinic Alliance (FSR_GSCA). This 3-hour program will include a strategy session for improving patient care and outcomes, case studies, and debates about hot button topics including the rise of pulmonary and cardiac sarcoidosis cases, whether sarcoidosis is still a rare disease, and impact of climate change and natural disasters on sarcoidosis. Learn more here.

These events will follow on the heels of the FSR 25th Anniversary Awards Gala on October 22. Join together with your colleagues to celebrate and honor leaders in the space.  Learn more and register here.
